Position Details:

Sales at Jacobson is all about building relationships and connecting our customers to their needs. We accomplish this through a combination of telephone sales, in-store sales and supporting our E-commerce website. This position will support the Sales Account Reps through customer service and administrative tasks. They will serve as the first responder to incoming sales inquiries and customer service calls. This is an important function of the sales team, and we desire a candidate who is upbeat, positive, organized, and willing to assist in a variety of tasks as needed.

  • Respond to customer phone calls and emails, troubleshoot customers’ needs regarding orders, deliveries, product availability, etc 
  • Process incoming customer orders.
  • Manage all orders and inquiries for our e-commerce website
  • Assist with maintaining a record of inventory issues
  • Support the Sales Team through the creation of sell sheets, maintaining logs and resources, proofing new materials, and completing data entry through various mediums; Excel, Google Suite, online portals, etc.
  • Cover other departments as needed including the customer service desk, the registers, and shipping.
  • Learn a vast and changing inventory of floral supplies and hard goods
Job Requirements:
  • Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and Google Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and over the phone.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role.
  • Previous experience in a sales and/or customer service role.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
