Position Details:

Jacobson is seeking an associate to assist in picking, packing, delivering customer orders as well as warehouse replenishment. The associate will ensure proper fulfillment and delivery of orders to customers in a timely and professional manner that reflects Jacobson’s values and customer service standards. This is a nine-hour shift scheduled between our operating hours of 6:00am-6:00pm with an hour lunch, Monday-Friday with some Saturdays and evenings required. Full time and part-time positions available.

Jacobson is the largest floral hard-goods supplier in New England. We specialize in silk flowers, votives, containers, vases, and floral accessories. We are a shoppable warehouse which acts as both our store open to customers and our shipping hub. Jacobson is located in the South End of Boston on Albany Street. We offer free parking to associates and a 25% discount.

Responsibilities:

Pick product from the warehouse in accordance with customer order form.
Pack product securely for delivery.
Generate invoices.
Deliver product to customers while demonstrating exceptional customer service skills, professionalism, and integrity.
Meet shipping schedules and time restraints of orders.
Place requisitions to maintain inventory levels.
Replenish stock locations with incoming freight and warehouse transfers.
Develop working product knowledge of a vast and changing inventory.
Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
Arrive at scheduled shifts on time and satisfy work commitments.
All other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Box-truck experience (non-CDL position).
Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
Teamwork and willingness to assist in whatever task is needed to benefit the company and customer experience.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Flexibility, adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to pass/obtain a DOT medical card within 28 days of hire.
